How often is an inspection needed
Intervals follow the ČSN EN 62305 series; for lightning protection installed before 2009, ČSN 34 1390 applies.

Is a lightning protection inspection mandatory?
For companies and apartment buildings yes; for family houses insurers require it when settling a lightning or fire claim.
What if the system fails?
Most often it is corroded joints or high earthing resistance. We describe it in the report and offer a repair.
How long does the inspection take?
A family house about an hour, an apartment building 2–3 hours depending on the number of conductors.
Do you need roof access?
Yes, at least to the air-termination system. For taller buildings we arrange access in advance.
Do you also check surge protection?
Yes, checking the surge arresters in the switchboard is part of the inspection.
What if I have no previous report?
No problem. We carry out an initial inspection and set up the documentation for future checks.
